About Me
I craft stories at the intersection of social anthropology and computer science—two fields that have shaped my understanding of how technology transforms human behavior, often in unexpected and dangerous ways.
My journey as a writer began in newspapers and peer-reviewed journals, where I explored these themes academically. Now I channel that same curiosity into thriller and horror fiction, creating stories that examine the darker implications of our interconnected world.
Old School ANSI Art of Me:
I'm deep in edits on two interconnected novels:
The Claddagh Trilogy: YA/Adult crossover horror. Every city has its wounds. Every wound has a door. And every door, eventually, finds someone willing to walk through it. The Claddagh trilogy follows Samantha Tremblay through a Los Angeles facing gang wars, a New York whose reality is breaking, and a Toronto rebuilt from memory, as a four-thousand-year-old grief looks for its way home.
Book three (Threshhold) is currently in development.
Short Fiction
Between novel drafts, I sharpen my craft through short stories across multiple genres. I'm always hunting for new markets through resources like Authors Publish and the Canadian Authors Association's contest listings—the thrill of finding the perfect home for a story never gets old.

Socials
Like many writers, I'm navigating the balance between building an online presence and actually having time to write, especially while juggling a day job! I've stepped back from Twitter due to platform changes, and while I have a Bluesky account, I'll be honest--I rarely post there. Right now, I'm prioritizing my writing time over having a social media presence.
Contact
I'd love to hear from you! Whether you're a fellow writer, potential collaborator, or reader with questions, feel free to reach me at jason@jasonboudreauwrites.com.
I prefer the simplicity of direct email--it feels more personal than contact forms, and I actually read and respond to every message.
